- What is your preschool curriculum like?
Kiddie Karrasel Academy, Inc. offers a curriculum that supports the Iowa early learning standards and the Creative Curriculum. In addition, we enhance our program with project based themes inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning.
Our classroom environment supports NAEYC's concept of developmentally appropriate practice with learning that enhances creative play, social and emotional development, language and literacy development, art, music, math, science, computer, fine and gross motor skills. With the guidance of our educated and experienced teachers, your child will leave our program properly prepared for
Kindergarten with a life long love for learning.

Our programs are designed to provide an environment with varied experiences that will allow children to:

develop an interest and joy in learning,

Yes, Kiddie Karrasel Academy is accredited until 2022 by NAEYC.
There are very few centers that have achieved NAEYC accreditation and we are proud to be a among those few.

- What types of meals and snacks do you serve?
Kiddie Karrasel Academy has a healthy snack and meal policy and follows the guidelines of the Iowa CACFP program serving healthy, well balanced and approved meals and snacks. We serve breakfast, AM snack, lunch and PM snack. http://www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/Care.
We prepare the majority of our meals from scratch and strive to serve food that is fresh and/or locally grown and organic.
